This is why you want to add a sediment filter because of well water or iron in the water and all sim440 will now have them. This is what his ro looked like and this was the chemical that he used to cleaned them himself. I make no grantees accept on the sim440. I have only tried this 8 years ago on the ro unit I bought from this company. It might be a good thing you try before replacement of ro filters though.
